I'm actually really intrigued by the "graphic short story" genre.... There seems more in common with the idea of serial fiction in some senses--I think Tomine's early collections were anthologies of a serial that he put out (continues to put out?). I just checked out Summer Blonde from the library and will read that to review soon. :D
